Measuring rollers
The conveyor speeds of belt conveyor systems are usually measured by measuring the rotational speed of friction wheels or the drive drums themselves.
With the ERBÖ measuring roller, all of the electrical measuring technology is located inside a modified support roller, providing excellent protection against contamination and damage. It stands out because it can be installed in any area of a conveyor belt system in place of a normal support roller. This means that no additional mountings or holders are required.
The design of the ERBÖ measuring rollers is based on our proven carrier rollers. The use of electrical NAMUR sensors with LOBA approval also allows the measuring rollers to be used in hazardous areas.
